Nia is a 15-year old freshman at Davenport North High School. She is the daughter of Marcell and Justine Kirk and is proud to have one brother and three sisters. Nia credits her parents for teaching her the values of confidence, respect, determination, leadership, and service to others.

A talented performer and emerging leader, Nia is a coach-in-training with the Royal Drama Dance Team and was honored with the Performing Arts Award through Her Voice Media. She also portrayed the legendary Chaka Khan in the Motown and Friends production, where she had the unforgettable opportunity to meet Chaka Khan herself.

When she’s not performing, Nia enjoys making bracelets, creating content, and hopes to one day turn her creativity into a successful business. She dreams of attending college and pursuing a career as an architect.

Guided by her favorite scripture, Phillippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”, Nia approaches every opportunity with faith, confidence, and determination.
